About MK Psychology
Michelle is the founder and owner of MK Psychology. Michelle is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Teacher, with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She has dedicated the past 30 years to working with clients in the fields of mental health, social work, and education. Outside of the clinic, Michelle also works as a school counsellor.
Michelle brings years of experience working with adolescents, adults, seniors, parents, families, and couples into how she practices. She is passionate about partnering with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, addictions, life transitions, or situations related to workplace bullying. She works with adolescents experiencing stress, who have ADHD, anger, social skills, and/or developmental issues. Michelle offers guidance and supports to parents and adolescents who are experiencing high-conflict divorce, and integration into a blended family.
Additionally, Michelle has been recognized for her contributions to charity and community work as the recipient of The Global Woman of Vision Award, Strathcona County’s Community Pride Award, and Mayor’s Award. She is the founder of Hearts & Hooves and is well-known for her advocacy of giving a voice to those not able to speak.

Michelle is available Monday to Thursday evenings for video sessions. Michelle offers in-person appointments from Thursdays to Saturdays in Sherwood Park.

We invite you to in-person sessions at our office in Sherwood Park, Alberta. Some of our counsellors offer secure and confidential telepsychology sessions to people living across Canada, or to Canadians living or travelling abroad. If you’d like to blend in-person and online sessions, we can do that.
When booking appointments, if you cannot find a time that works for you, please email the office. We will work with you to find options that best suit you.
